Safeguarding Children, Young People and Vulnerable Adults

Intended Audience

This Safeguarding Training is suitable for those who are working with children, young people and adults at risk, including those in voluntary or unpaid positions. This qualification is also suitable for those who have a specific responsibility in safeguarding and protecting in environments such as the NHS, education providers and social services.

Course Content

During this course, Learners will develop a greater understanding of how to safeguard and protect children, young people and adults. Topics covered include: safeguarding and protection responsibilities, different forms of abuse and how to respond to disclosure or suspected abuse.

Course Assessment

Assessment is carried out on the day by completing a workbook and continuous formative assessment conducted throughout the course
