Intended Audience
This blended Paediatric first aid course is for childminders, nannies and other childcare workers.
Course Content
This course consists of 6 hours online to be completed before the face to face element is delivered. It meets all the requirements for Ofsted registration and the EYFS framework.
Including:
- The role of the first aider
- How to prioritise in an emergency
- Contents of a first aid kit
- Documentation
- Primary Survey
- CPR
- Recovery Position
- Choking
- Minor Illnesses
- Burns
- Poisoning
Day 2Â is delivered face to face with the opportunity to practice the skills required to save lives
The course is certified for 3 years
Assessment
There will be ongoing assessment throughout the course with written and practical tests.

This course can be delivered on site or at a local venue.
£75 per person for individual participants
There is an option to do a blended level 3 qualification for an extra £20
