Cardiac arrest is the leading cause of death outside of hospitals in the UK. Immediate and effective action with CPR and an AED (Automated External Defibrillator) can dramatically increase a person’s chance of survival.
This Basic Life Support (BLS) course is designed for those who have a duty to do CPR in their work or want to refresh their first aid knowledge.
Healthcare professionals are required to complete annual BLS training to maintain their skills and confidence in responding to emergencies.
During this 3-hour practical course, learners will gain the knowledge and hands-on experience needed to perform life-saving techniques on adults and children.
Upon successful completion, participants will receive a Basic Life Support certificate, valid for one year.
All learning materials and resources are included in the course price.
