What is Safeguarding?
Safeguarding or Child Protection is everyone's business. It involves protecting a child or young person that you suspect is at risk of or experiencing harm.
If you work with or come into contact with vulnerable children and young people it is essential that you can spot the signs or abuse and that you know how to report these concerns. Everyday more and more children are placed on child protection plans or become involved with services.
If a child told you they were experiencing some form of abuse would you know what to do? Would you know where to go?
The course is certified for 3 years and costs £50 per person
