A heart attack can be a life threatening emergency. It is vital to recognise the early warning signs so that the person can receive the help they need in order to save a life. What are some of the signs that you might notice in a friend or relative. A heart attack is the result of a blood clot forming somewhere in the heart causing a blockage, which causes part of the heart muscle to die.
