What do I do when I get unwell with covid 19
Covid 19 has been around for a couple of years now and there are a variety of strains. When we first heard of it the virus caused lots of people to become really sick. With the introduction of vaccines and different strains becoming more mild hopefully if you get the virus and become unwell it will be more like a common cold or flu like symptoms.
what can you do to look after yourself?

Rest
One symptom which has been widely reported is extreme tiredness so rest and sleep when you need to
-
Take paracetamol
Other symptoms include cough, cold, sore throat, headache and temperature so take some paracetamol for comfort.
This should be no more than 4 doses in a 24 hour period.
-
Drink plenty
Drink plenty and keep well hydrated. Warm squash or honey and lemon in hot water is good for symptom relief
Eat as you feel up to it
