What is a First Aid at Work Requalification?
First Aid at work is a qualification recommended for certain professions such as:
- Builders
- Climbing Instructors
- School Staff

What does it involve?
Requirements for First Aid provision varies across businesses / organisations. There are many factors at play when deciding on what to put in place.
First Aid at Work is a more in depth qualification which is usually delivered over 3 days. The recommended contact time for the delivery of this course is 18 hours over 3 days with additional reading and preparation. As with any qualification there is a mixture of theory and practical assessment. It is a qualification which needs to be renewed every 3 years to keep current.
Course content is divided into 2 parts:
- Emergency First Aid at Work
- Managing illnesses in the workplace.

First Aid at Work Requalification
If your company has a requirement for First Aid at Work and the qualification is coming to an end you can complete a 2 day requalification.
Requirements for this are that the participants have an in date certificate. Your certificate will be renewed over a 2 day period giving you the same qualification you had before.
