  • The updated regulation (2015) requires employers to take responsibility and comply with their legal duty to ensure that their employees receive immediate attention if they are injured or taken ill whilst at work.

This requirement must be adhered to whether this is work related or not!

Small businesses have to appoint at least one person to be First Aid Certified and who is competent in delivering adequate and appropriate first aid. Self-employed individuals also have a duty under the Regulations in that they must have the appropriate first aid equipment with them.

    What is:

    • "adequate and appropriate?"
    • "sufficient equipment?"
    • "personnel available?"

Safety First Welling can help you comply with the Regulation and can share our training, knowledge and experience with you to help you comply.
